Initially I couldn't really see the value of Evernote for me. However, after thinking about it for a day or two I realised that it could be a useful tool in making my online researching smarter. I've downloaded Evernote at home and had a play around with clipping and adding tags and my own additions and can see that, if I got into using it, it would be a great tool, allowing me to organising my online research into different topics, keep my own notes on clippings in the same place and access these wherever I was on the internet.
But. The stumbling block for me is that I can't download and use it on my work PC (network restrictions). As one of the advantages I could see would be accessing clippings and notes wherever I was on the internet, not being able to access it where I do this a lot of this research is a bit of a problem...
I'm going to keep experimenting with it at home as I do think it has potential as a research tool and will report back on how I get on with it.
